Convert a Trendyol shipping label to a 100×150 mm thermal label

A Trendyol shipping label is downloaded from the seller panel as an A4 PDF; the barcode and address block sit in the top-left corner of the page. Roll thermal printers, on the other hand, use a 100×150 mm label. When you send the A4 output straight to the thermal printer, the printer tries to fit the content onto the label; the barcode shrinks, the margin narrows and the reader cannot decode the label. Upload the PDF you downloaded from the order page as it is; the default settings suit most Trendyol labels. Because the barcode is not redrawn during the conversion, it largely keeps its quality: the page content is cropped and placed onto the new canvas.

How do you choose the crop area on a Trendyol label?

In Trendyol's standard A4 layout, the label is in the top-left corner; the "Top-left corner" option is ready for this template. At times the panel produces a different template: if the label covers the top half of the page choose "Top half", if it is spread across the whole page choose "Full page", and if it is centered choose "Centered 100 × 150".

If you are not sure which area is right, open the PDF in a viewer first and look at where the barcode sits on the page. A wrong crop area makes part of the address block disappear; after the conversion, zooming in on the output on screen takes only a few seconds.

Converting a Trendyol label step by step

The conversion is completed in four steps on a single screen:

• Download the shipping label from your Trendyol orders as an A4 PDF.
• Drag the PDF onto the area or upload it with choose file (up to 100 MB).
• Choose the output size and crop area; the defaults suit most sellers.
• Start the conversion and download the thermal label.

Several orders in one PDF

What to check when the barcode does not read

• Is the scale in the thermal printer driver set to "actual size" or 100%? "Fit to page" breaks the barcode.
• Does the label size match the roll: 100×150 mm or 80×120 mm?
• Does the crop area preserve the space around the barcode?
• Try the first print with a single label and scan the barcode with the reader; if the result is good, print in bulk.
• Dust that builds up on the thermal head fades the print; clean the head with the method the manufacturer recommends.

Which areas of a Trendyol label must be preserved?

Cropping only discards the space at the edge of the page; it does not touch the label's content. Still, check three areas after the conversion: the quiet zone around the barcode, the tracking number line and the recipient's full address. When the space around the barcode narrows, the reader cannot tell the lines apart and the label does not read on the first try.

At times Trendyol produces a return form or a campaign note on the same page as the label. In that case, examine the PDF before choosing the crop area and confirm which part holds the barcode; if needed, convert the page in two steps.
